Super Sloppy Sunday School!

(Even we can't believe what we get away with.)

Each and every Sunday morning is a blast in our one-room schoolhouse-style Sunday School. Our kids, ages 4-12 (... or 15, 50, 90...) have an awesome time each week as a family learning about God, Jesus and the Bible by playing games, hearing stories, doing the occasional craft, eating lots of snacks, and of course, making HUGE messes.

You never know what you'll encounter on a typical Sunday: a color run, pies in the face, elephant toothpaste, confetti cannons or our all-time favorite, "Will It Float?" How does this all relate to the Bible? You'll have to join us to find out.

Our Current Curriculum: Bible Science

Each week we'll tackle a different science experience (which may or may not work) to learn about Bible stories that teach us about how Jesus wants us to live. some of the ickiest Bible stories and relate them to our lives today! We'll have a few additional surprises, and, oh yes, we'll still get "Super Sloppy," too.

Sunday School Takeovers

Periodically, our kids take over our Sunday morning worship service by leading the service, reading scripture, offering prayers and more. Each "Sunday School Takeover" features a unique theme and family-friendly happenings. Check out our homepage for the upcoming schedule "SST" events.

Vacation Bible School / Summer Sleepover

Vacation Bible School was a huge Stony Point-wide event from 1996-2012. In 2024 - at the demand of our kids - we brought it back and reimagined it as our "Summer Sleepover" featuring exciting skits, stories, crafts, games and puzzles - bigger, better (& messier!) that what we can handle on (most) Sunday mornings. Our 24-hour "lock-in" finds us sleeping in the sanctuary, and culminates in a special celebration worship service / "Sunday School Takeover."
